Every year during Master’s Tournament Week here in Augusta, Georgia a big outdoor concert is staged (and believe me, live entertainment in Augusta is a rare event).
At this year’s show, Cheap Trick, one of my faves, was the headliner. I managed to shoot a few videos of their show - the quality ain’t great, but you definitely get a feel for Cheap Trick live (and they totally rocked!)
After featuring the Creeping Cruds on the Song of the Week for 3/11, thought you guys might like to check out a little Creeping Cruds video. This one is a teaser from the “Zombie Walk” documentary with the Creeping Cruds doing “I Wanna Eat The Living”. Crank that volume up!
They’re from LA and this is a band you need to get into. Cool video for their song I Don’t Know Who - and this is just one of those songs you can’t get out of your head!
I recently visited by brother Michael in Shreveport, Louisiana. While there we went in search of the legendary bluesman Lead Belly’s final resting place. Well we found it at Shiloh Baptist Church in Mooringsport, LA. Go read my blog post for a few more details. And…I made a movie of the day…here is “In Search of Lead Belly’s Resting Place” set to the Lead Belly song “Where Did You Sleep Last Night”.
